Lucy Valentine is studying Arts at Monash University, and through some unfortunate circumstance decided to major in Philosophy. She now understands that 'writer' and 'inventor' are her only viable career choices. She thinks she'll go with the former.

"Rock Star" was her first choice listed on a year 10 career survey, but for now Lucy would settle for an internship at Rolling Stone Magazine.

Lucy is also the editor of Monash Berwick's student magazine, and spends a lot of time trying to convince people she is very important and very busy. Realistically she spends more time in JB Hi-Fi than in her office, and hates being taken too seriously.

An expert on music, gaming, and all the geekier parts of pop culture, Lucy has an extensive repertoire of knowledge on 80s rock stars, Star Wars references and World of Warcraft.

She has an offensive sense of humor and a knack for making a scene, but Lucy hopes her passion for music and writing will somehow endear her to future employers.

If Lucy's career in writing fails, she hopes to one day master time travel or make a fortune on TV game shows.
