Happy-Go-Lucky-director Mike Leigh returns with Another Year, which explores happiness with the interwoven story of two couples. Another Year stars Jim Broadbent and debuted at Cannes in May.

Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire earned a deserved 8 Oscars last year. Boyle apparently turned down some major productions for 127 Hours, which tells of rock climber Aron Ralston's near-death experience in the Moab mountains.
