Oxford awards word of the year to: "Unfriend", Facebook to blame.
In attempt to be more in sync with the world's lightning quick ability to warp the English language, The Oxford University Press Blog has announced that their word of the year is:
*Drumroll!*
"Unfriend– verb – To remove someone as a ‘friend’ on a social networking site such as Facebook."
Clearly Facebook has more of an effect on the English Lexicon than one would be comfortable with.
Some of the other words that competed with Unfriend for the prestigious title were, intexticated, hashtag, sexting, paywall, freemium and deleb.

Unfriend is an ungood word
Unfriend? It sounds almost Orwellian, doesn't it! Almost like 'ungood'.
